What's the door switch under the liftgate on the wagon supposed to turn on?
Whatever is supposed to turn on, doesn't, and I'd like to know what it is so that I can fix it.
So far have been slowly ferreting out and replacing about 25 years of burnt out bulbs one by one.
It is supposed to trigger the light on the instrument cluster that says liftgate adjar. Basically it tells you when the rear tailgate is not latched properly or open. Mine quit working on both wagons.
It will also turn on the cargo light, if your wagon is so equipped. It is a switch similar to the switch used for the doors, but threads into the plastic housing.
