Just think it is so funny that although it is rare in Michgan to see a non rusted out Pinto that I have so many people try to BUY my car just by driving it around!

I have had it about a month and have had at least 10 offers.....and 2 of them are people who just STOPPED and asked at the door.

I have had several old cars, and my Pinto is the one that draws the most attention.   Everybody either had one at some point, or had someone in their family who had one.   They bring back a lot of memories, but unfortunately were not deemed collectable, so they went to the crusher.

A nice Pinto is a very rare sight.   When I first showed up at the Ford dealer with mine, I drew an amazing crowd.

Enjoy your Pinto and let them drool.   If you sell it, you will kick yourself.

No doubt!

It took me 18 years to get hubby to buy this one... not gonna happen again.  This will be with me til I die....or cant see to drive it! LOL.....

Now, If I could only get the shiney paint job! ;)

Oh ya!
  Whenever I take my driver Pinto out,it causes a stir!The funniest are the kids that drool over it.These kids were born after 1980,so they don't even know what a Pinto is.So I have to explain it to them.One night I spent 15 minutes in McDonalds drive- thru,answering questions for the kid working the window.Poor kid,he never had the chance to grow up around Pintos.Deprived childhood?He just loved it!I have had several offers too.I won't sell it under $6,000.
