I was runnin 50s for years, but now you cant get them anymore sad to say.No one makes anything of decent size anymore.I ended up going to 14s in the rear.I was able to get a 265-50-14 on the car with out to much trouble, and all that tire looks good.

I found a 205 60 13 at Pepboys ...I ran them on the wagon but they would fit on the front...I just want a bigger tire , same width just taller.

Hey Frank,
I`ve had the same problem...seem`s now everyone want`s more wheel than tire, like 22'' rim`s with a 1/2 inch of tire wrapped around it...look`s like a bicycle tire...I hate the look ...I finally checked with a local old time tire store and got a good deal on some old stock he had laying around...got a pair of 205 60r 13 for $100 mounted and balanced...maybe check some of the smaller shop`s if you have any in the area...I`m going back to buy as many as I can afford just so I can have them for the future...
Good luck!

i have aset of old pinto jelly bean mags with 235/50/13 ((i believe) on the rear and a little smaller on the front.they are BFG radial T/A's but now they only make i think two sizes in 13 inch wheels. also it hard to find wheels bigger than 14 inch in 4 lug

Kelly Tire still has a 185/70-13 tire in either a blackwall or whitewall. I just got two for my '80 CW. They aren't a performance tire, but seem to work well enough for a daily driver.

Tall and wide back tires are what I like! but I use to use Firstones, Protracs and Kelly's in a G-50 on the back of my cars I liked these tires due to the flat surface area like a true drag slick.

But at this point I would like any thing thats not narrow.
I have a pair of 13x7's to go on the back of my new wagoon.
So far I have come up with one option(205/60/13) through Pepboys.
I would like the same width but a little taller.

But it seems we are not making the 13's like they use too when Empi and Scat was making aftermarket parts and you could drive to Super Shops and slip into a pair of meats of your choice....geeezzz. I feel out  Dated.....

I'd give tirerack.com a look, they have all kinds of funky sizes even on 13" rims.

Wide tires are still around.
I know that McCreary / American Racer still offeres a 235-60x13 and a 215-60x13
Hoosier Also has a wide range or 13 rubber. Now these tires I mentioned are more
of a "race tire" but are DOT leagal.

And just bought some 205-60x 13's  Kumo Radials for a 510 project.
