Title: Fenderwell Trim Repair
Post by: FCANON on July 19, 2006, 02:49:54 PM
I never seen a Pinto with cherry Fender Well Trim..
I just aquired a 76 Wagon and the Aluminium well trim is beat to death.
I was wondering if anyone had any luck at working this stuff back in shape.

Never hurts to ask,,,,ouch

you can use a paint stick (bamboo) or a smooth kind of strong plastic strip. and wrap the molding in a dowl. and just kind of "iron" the dents and dings out with that. it works on window trim. it might work on that too. it does take a while so be patient.
