That's kool. I'm always amazed how a set of wheels & tires can change the "visual personality" of an automobile (and/or the performance/handling too, if it's bias to radials, or the reverse). I have a lot of fun collecting interesting old rims for my VWs, then going thru the refinishing process, selecting "just the right tires" for them, etc., and then occasionally changing over to a different setup on the car for a time, etc.. And it's cheaper than collecting more cars. Two thumbs up!
Looks like you and pintogeek both have the same style of stock hubcaps--which appear to me to be the most popular type original Pintos had. On our '73, we have a flat "dogdish" style with black-highlighted "turbine" look edges, and then separate trim rings.
