I am looking for the part number for a base model AVOCADO GREEN steering wheel for a 1973/1974. This is the wheel whose round horn button twists off and can be removed without tools (as opposed to the wheel with the horizontal horn bar that is screwed in from the back).
My Ford dealer tried to help Their microfiches are from the early to mid 80s. By then, Ford was already suggesting to "replace with black" and quoting a D7 number (1977 and up).
This wheel was also used on plain-Jane Mavericks, but I do not know if the Maverick was offered in avocado green for these two years.
Member billnall had given me part number D3AZ13A915B for the horn button. Can anyone tell me what the part number is for the wheel?
