Title: Steering Column
Post by: stillwaters on July 11, 2006, 09:38:30 PM
Since the Pinto and the Mustang II were mechanically the same car in many respects, does anybody know if the Mustang II steering column would work out as a replacement for the column in my late 1970's Pinto?

Thanks...

Keith

I have both and I think they are different lengths.  I want to say the Mustang II column is longer.  Also, the turn signal switch is different as the Mustang II has the wiper controls intergrated in it.  I have a couple Pinto columns if you need one.
