Title: AOD shifter?
Post by: hoots on July 09, 2006, 04:43:48 PM
Well I'm gathering all the parts I need to swap my c4 for an AOD. The only real problem is what shifter to use. Does anyone have a suggestion?

You can't go wrong getting anything from Lokar.

if your're looking for a somewhat stock look, maybe you could get a floor shifter from an 85-88 ranger/bronco II?  I know they have the PRNOD21 pattern on them, but i'm not sure if it will work with the AOD.

The stock look is what I'm after. The AOD is from a 1987 Crown Vic, not sure if I need a 1,2,3,D shifter or a 1,2,D.
