Is there a way of finding Pinto owners (enthusiasts) located in my area? I can not see a location listed in the members list. Last night they had the annual cruise night in the local city and I didn't see a single Pinto, (no mine wasn't there its not on the road yet). What was really bad was just when we were leaving their were 2 Vegass one street v8 and one full drag v8 (wheelie bars, chute and tubbed slicks). That is when I decided to try to locate some local Pinto Owners.
Thanks
Kevin

The Member Map would be a place to start.

If you want to stay in frames, this link is in the page navigation above.
??? You must have missed me and my son in my red 73 Wagon I was in! I was sitting up near advance next to my brother-in-laws 57 Chevy and made the run back down to orange ave at about 7:00 or so and went to see my mom in the hospital. Im down next to Montvale FYI.
p.s. I know another guy that lives just off Williamson that has two Cruisers and a V-6 Sedan.
Blacksheep22, Sorry I missed you and your car we were sitting by the firestone at crossroads. Some one at work today said they saw a red wagon must have been yours.
I live south of roanoke off of rt 220 (wirtz). What a coincidence we both have early wagons, with built 2.0s.
Would be nice to meet sometime and talk pinto's.
Kevin
Right now its on 4 jackstands with the trans out! :'( (Im heading over to put the other one back in when I finish typing this.) I think I was the only one up there with a Pinto since I didnt see any others. Maybe we can hook up one weekend after I get all the bugs worked out. I just got the wagon on the road last weekend after it had been sitting for 10 years or better. Here is a pic of it in the rain before I got the emblems back on it. Easy to catch as it has a "Ghost" 22 on the doors since it has a few of the racecar parts on it! :surprised: (see avatar)
Car looks good, mine has not been on the road since 2002, no special reason just too many toys. Will try to email you a recent pic, and its details.
What have you done to your 2.0? Sorry to hear about your tranny problems.
Kevin
At the moment just a 450 lift 300 duration cam with double valve springs but have plans to deck the block and bring the compression up to about 10-1. The Tranny is being a pain in the !#@. fought for an hour just to get it onto the back of the block just to find out all 4 bell housing bolt holes are STRIPPED! :wow: Guess thats what I get for using junk. After all my dad has a junkyard and he's on one side and im on the other. Oh well, Ill get it tomorrow. If all else fails ill get out the sledge hammer!
