I haven't really looked around yet but the idiots down here at the emissions place pressure tested my tank. It went from being on half tank to reading a lot over full.... and never went back. Im guessing it messed something up with the fuel sender? Anyone else have any ideas about what exactly may have happened? Where is the fuel sender at on the tank?

I have never heard of pressure testing the tank; That is a very dangerous concept. They do test the caps here, but only if the car came with a non-vented one. The only thing I can think of that COULD happen would be to blow the wires out, but then you would be leaking gas as well as the sending unit not working.
