Title: E85 Flex Fuel Conversion?
Post by: eatmydust on June 12, 2006, 12:43:28 PM
Has anybody thought about this or tried this . . .

It would be kind of funny, cause E85 is corn alcohol and of course the Pinto is a "horse". LOL

I'd try it, because it's realtively easy to do and the conversion kits are not that expensive.  However, when I checked the nearest ethanol station to my home is in Seattle and I live in North Idaho.

I know a dude who runs it in his slant 6 dodge. he said he set his carb lean, and it kinda gets warm in the summertime. I thought about trying it in my bobcat.

The minute they build a station within 5 miles im converting. Im sick of sending my $ overseas in so many ways. At  least this will be one less.

where do you get the converson kits? I wonder if this would work on a turbo car?
