I need AC hella bad!!! I sweat just thiking about getting in my black on black runabout. I need someway to cool myself off.
My dad told me when he had his pinto, he bought a "snoopy" AC from sears for it. Mounted to the floor.
What are my opinions, to getting AC in my 74 2.3L Runabout.
Let me know

I have put AC in a number of vehicles over the years. My 74 has factory AC and trying to install a factory setup from another Pinto would be a lot of trouble. Get a Street Rodder magazine and look at all the different aftermarket AC systems in there. The easiest way would be to use one of there kits.

I installed the under dash a/c box in my turbo car. It was a RPITA even with the evap. and drain removed. If you can, just go aftermarket or paint it white.

You might want to check vintage a/c. I'm gonna check through them for an aftermarket a/c setup for my car. It too has black interior so I feel your pain.
Vintage AC just released a reproduction underdash unit that is a perfect reproduction of the MKIV AC system used in a lot of cars..
