We were told by several people that Connie's Pinto is the exact double to Sabrina's. After hours of searching the web, I have only found her plate #: 846 RUZ.
Can anyone here find a photo of it from the show to verify this detail?
(If you need to ask "What show?", never mind.)
Thanks,
Bill

What show???? :lost: Just Kidding!!!!!
Well, we finally got the dvds of Charlie's Angels.
With seeing just a few episodes we have determned that Connie's Pinto is very much like Sabrina's. The only thing that is hard to tell is the interior, in one veiw it is orange and another it is chamois.
Also the plate has changed to 031 NKB.

I think it is standard practice to have two of the same car in a TV show or movie shoot. Many times if you look closely, they are not exactly alike. In Thelma and Louise, there are two mid 60's Thunderbird convertibles. One has a white roof, the other has a black roof. In Seinfeld, Kramer drives a green 1973 Chevy, but in some shots, the front of a green 1974 Chevy can be seen. From what recall, it has a different color interior.
I was a big fan of Charlie's Angels on the late seventies. This was the time I was driving Pinto #1, and I sure tool notice of Kate Jackson's, a.k.a. Sabrina Duncan's orange Pinto. I remember a plaid orange interior, but in this picture from the car movie database, it is showing the plaid orange interior on the outside shot, and a brown dashboard on an inside shot. For Hollywood productions, that is just close enough.
Yes, we are aware they used what ever orange Pinto that was around that day. Most of the shots we have seen it does not have orange interior.
In one motion shot at night, the hood is CLEARLY in the "poped" position.
Sometimes it has the moon roof too.
In the photo "3pinto...", the rear of the car is very high because the car is coming to a fast stop.
I have only know of ONE other 77/78 orange Pinto with the white top, I met a guy on ebay with one; would not mind finding other owners as well.

In me junk yard travels over the years I've seen a few with the same color int combo.
Also Coxon Ford had 3 at the same time 1 was in the body shop hit in the RR Qt .
I'm sure Ford made 100s of that color Int. combo..

Yes, I am sure Ford made a bunch of them; as I mentioned it seemed like they did not use the same one twice on the show.
Since we started actively looking well over a year ago,
we have only seen one other orange one with the white vinyl top. As far as the interior/exterior combos, we have seen a few orange with the orange/black interiors, one was a s. wagon.

I have a 77 orange with white vinyl top and chamois interior.
Kool.
That makes 2 others.

Judging by the way the Pinto was driven they likely used way more than one car. These shots could be used for suspension tuning analysis. I mean how many people have footage of the car being stressed to the MAX. :o
Being that I live in the hills "beyond L.A." occasionally I will stumble upon a "movie car" long abandoned in a ditch. I recall back in the '80's finding and old, gutted "General Lee" back on Portero Rd (Hidden Valley between Westlake and Newbury Park). At the time it was an eye sore waiting to be hauled off for scrap. I wonder what it would bring today given the popularity?

Nice video, I especially like the battle on the cliff side. Who says big things don't come in small packages. Oh, and Bill, I gotta say, Connies Pinto is nicer than Sabrinas.
