Pinto Car Club of America

Hey gang,

  I was serious about hosting the Pinto Nationals here in Milwaukee either next year (2007) or in 2008. I have been talking with a couple of Ford Clubs as well as several people about this and I am sure that we could get a great spot as well as anything we need to do this. I may even ask the NSRA if we can do it during their National meet in mid July.
I just need to know if I have the support of the PCCA and and can go forward with planning this. I can get sponsors lined up and have more door prizes as well as awards than we will need. I would just need to know about how many cars would be here. I have put together several LARGE shows in the area and would love to see the looks on peoples faces when they are invaded by Pintos and Bobcats. The local media would be all over this and we would probably make most of the news stations. I know that we would be asked to talk about the show on several local radio stations.
Just let me know and I will start planning now. Pass the word and get everyones opinion

I would LOVE to see all those Pinto's and I would drive mine!

I used to hate car shows because all the people think their cars are SOOOOO great, but there is always like hundreds of the same damn thing.

We have a festival near us where one guys enters his Pintos every year.... it seems to be getting bigger now, but this guy literally buys EVERY pinto he sees.....
I always see more people near his cars than the other more "normal" car show cars.

Hey 78 I for one will be there probably with 4 or 5 from central Ohio.

I am still talking with the Milwaukee Mile about having the Nationals here in 2008 since it looks like most of the group wants to attend possibly the LAST show in PA.
However, I will also be talking with the NSRA in a month or so and if they give us a green light, I could still have time to put a decent show together in 2007 if everybody wants to come here. I also have a few other ideas that I am going to start working on (different dates, ect) and will post them soon. How about having the show during a major race. Possibly Champ Car Series or NASCAR Busch Grand National and Craftsman Truck Series? Only problem there is hotel rooms. But feed me some ideas and I will make something work.
I had my little red wagon on display this past weekend at the NASCAR events (BGN and Trucks) and received HIGH praise for it. It drew so much attention away for a Toyota display that they (Toyota) complained and I had to move it. It still drew more attention than there plain Jane cars and trucks. Just imagine if we invaded with 30 or 40 of the cars people love to hate.
