We were taking a small commuter plane from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon on June 1. As we were taxiing out to the runway, we were looking at all the small airplanes parked under the protective awnings, protecting them from the hot Nevada sun. Then we both spotted a car parked right next to the planes. We thought: oh, a car is parked there. Then we noticed it was a pinto! Is it one that an airport employee drives to work everyday and parks there to keep it sheltered from the heat? Alas, we will never know, but it sure made out day! It was blue in color and looked to be in great condition.
