hey folks! got to meet phils toys,at their first relay for life cruise. despite subpar weather we made it down there. it wasnt the greatest turn out cause of it. got to talk to phil quite a bit abuout our cars. he s got a very nice bobcat wagon. we traded tips an info. methis wife an kids also. we would duck into nearby stores to get out of the wind an warm up some , which the employees didnt seem to mind . we were the onlypinto an bobcat there.ive been very well recieved by folks who like my starsky an hutch looking pinto.for the moment it at least looks fast. have been looking for the slotted alum. rims complete the look, there asking price for new rims was $150. a rim. would total just under $1k for rims antires. the good news came across a pinto for sale in anearby small town on way to corry pa. an stopped on the way back the owner says he has 5 different pintos hes going to be selling .some are v-8 ed, some the stock motor has been built up. the one i saw sitting there was a yellow 77 hatch itwas stock, with the exact same black int. which hes only wanting 8oo.dollars for . it happens to have 14 an 13 inch alum. slotted rims ive been needing hes wanting 400. dollars for them w/ tires. its the best deal ive found yet.anyway back to cruise, it finally started to clear off pretty much after the cruise was over. all in all we enjoyed ourselves best we could an didnt let the rain an wind keep us at home, came home tired but satisfied its just first of many cruises were gonna hit , an hopefully see more pinto owners meeting up this summer ;D
