Title: Victory Lane
Post by: 78squirewagon on May 08, 2006, 08:55:07 PM
Just wanted to post a picture of my 78 Wagon that I had taken in Victory Lane at the Milwaukee Mile yesterday. I helped organize an event called Drive The Mile which had over 400 vehicles in attendance and only one Pinto. "Zippy" did ok going into the corners at 60 MPH (that was as fast as they would let us go).
It was a great time. If you look under the car show section, you will see a request to hold the Pinto Nationals here next year as part of "Drive The Mile

That's way cool!!!!  8) 8)  I've done laps on Laguna Seca and Sears Point (now renamed to something else, but I don't remember what it is!!) out here in California, but not in a Pinto. Laguna Seca was with the '67 Sunbeam Tiger MkII I had and Sears Point was with a '66 Mustang GT fastback with factory 289Hi-Po that I converted into a Shelby. What a rush!!! Way better than drugs!!  ;D ;D
