Pinto Car Club of America

Hey gang, how about having the Pinto Nationals at the Milwaukee Mile Speedway next year. The date would probably be May 6th, 2007 but I would have to confirm that later on in the year. This would be part of an event called "Drive the Mile" in which I kinda organized. Yesterday we had over 400 different cars attending a show/swap meet and most of them took laps on the track. Out of all of those cars there was only one Pinto, mine.
They only let us go about 60 65 MPH yesterday but it was still a lot of fun. Having the place crawling with Pintos would really add the the event and everyone would be welcomed with opened arms. Heck we even had a dump truck on the track.
Anyway, let me know what you thing and I can start planning now. Only 363 more days so time is ticking LOL!!!!

Pintony came up with possibly 2008 as the date for the Milwaukee Pinto Nationals which will be ok with me. I  can be flexible. Even if we cant do it at The Milwaukee Mile (which I am sure that we can), there are lots of HUGE areas to host a show here. Miller Park. Wisconsin State Fair Park, Waukesha Expo Center. I know the press would be all over this one LOL!!!!

Hey Mark, I'm just a few miles west of You. I'm in Janesville. I have a 77 Pinto wgn and as far as I know I have the only Pinto in town. "COOL"  You can count me in on the Milwaukee Mile it sounds like it would be a blast. I really want to meet some of the fellow Pinto owners in this group.

Hey Mark that sounds cool.You need to start pushing for it now so we all can try and attend it.Looks like we are meeting at Carlisle again next year.Get us some info for the Mile so we can decide as a group to be there.I will be there if we are a go.
