LOL! Just Stopping in to say Howdy.
Ive been a Amc Gremlin and a Ford Pinto fan from way back. Ive already had my 74 Factory v8 Gremlin for a few years and am in mid resto now
This winter I will be looking for Pinto to add to the "Stable". I havent had a chance to join until now so I hope to learn alot in my stay.
take care!
I bought a gremlin one time for 50 bucks. Drove the hound out of that thing for about a year.(straight 6) Talk about gas milage, I wish I had never ever sold that car, Twice as a matter of fact. It was yellow and some gave me a set of crager ss's for it. It was almost as much fun as my pinto.
Gremlins are cool! Way back when, my new (502 miles) bowtie broke, I got a '74 V-8 3spd as a loaner....that thing was a hoot! Love to have one!
My wife and I looked at on a few years ago; It had a v8 4spd. but also had rust, we are still ready to buy one if we see one.
Bill
my pinto loved tearing the hell out of my friends gremlin!
I too am a newbie...with a Gremlin.I've always loved the hated cars i.e the Vega,Pinto,Maverick,Hornet,Gremlin and hope to one day have each car of my own,so I so far have a Gremlin and would love to find a decent 71-73 Pinto with the trunk and drop a nice healthy 302 in it.My Gremlin is a 73 vintage with a 11 to 1 AMC 360 V8 mated to a Borg Warner T10 4 speed.yes i love lil cars that haul butt  so please don;t be too hard on me as were sort of kinsman what with our love for obscure looking and disrespected cars.
You need to get a Fresh Cherries Die-Cast like the Pinto one's at Walmart...If you haven't already....
Way ahead of ya.I got the 1/24 ones and the 1/64 versions and i can't wait to get my hands on the new remote control versions,YOu guy seen those yet?its basically the AMT 'Wonder Pony'model remolded with the huge slicks and big honking 429 'semi hemi' poking outta the hood.
