How much modifying is involved in doing this type of modification? Does anyone know this or has anyone tried this before?

Ive not seen it done but i have heard that the 460 is so wide that it has to set on top of the frame with special motor mounts.  I wouldnt want to have to make a set of headers for the car either talk about a tight fit.

I think I've seen pictures of this, but I believe all of the pictures I've seen have a "tube" front end.
