does anyone know the intake torque specs and patern for a 1979 pinto 2.3 ???

I think its 14 lbs. If no one answers Ill look it up and have an answer tomorrow.

Hi,
According to my Chilton's book (my book is from 71-77 and doesn't say anything about specific years. so i think it would be the same for all the years of 2300) there are to steps. first you torque it to 8 ft. lbs. then you torgue it to 16-23 ft. lbs. hope this helps but remember that my book is from 71-77. also sorry for the lame pattern picture.

good reply The pictures nice too and i believe they are all the same for all the 2.3s mustangs and pintos.
