Pinto Car Club of America

hey everyone.  I just found this site today and became very excited ;D  I owned a 1978 pinto which i bought from my brother, kyle.  he made it into a beautiful car.  Unfortunately it went through some rough times with the both of us :'( I ended up selling it to a gentleman from Wisconsin thanksgiving of last year.  I was sad to see it go, but i knew this guy was going to bring it back to life :)

Modifications my brother did:
-painted it 1997 Viper GTS coupe blue with a little extra pearl
-chrome rims
-custom black carpet
-custom steering wheel (a pain in the butt to drive with :))
-traction control arms
-a performance cam (not sure what kind)
-sunroof
-custom headers
-holley carb
-custom interior (numerous gauges, hurst shift handle and boot, a complete Alpine stereo system)

I know there is more, but that is all i can think of right now.  I would love to post a pic but i dont have any scanned and the digital ones i had were lost when the previous computer died.  i will try to get one up within the next week.

other info:
-it won a second place trophy at the Ticonderoga Annual Car show.
-it hydroplaned and was wrecked in 98
-i bought it from him in the spring of 2001 i think
-that summer it mysteriously caught fire on me while trying to start it :'(, but it went out with a show and crowd :).
