There is a problem with the turbo heads in that they seat a lot of heat.  They are usually cracked around the valve seats as well as a few other places.  For that price I am going to say someone knows it.  But a magnaflux job will tell for sure.  I don't see why it would not work but what about the late model Ranger head.  It uses new casting process's and now they do a better job of controlling the nickel content.  They should be very plentiful.  Is there some reason they don't work.

The turbo head will give you less power in a N/A engine. It has an open chamber for a lower C/R.

The cracks don't seem to hurt the turbo heads too much, and Ihave heard of people knowingly installing cracked heads with no issues (depending on the crack).
