Title: ThunderPinto gets a big brother.
Post by: High_Horse on April 05, 2006, 09:41:23 AM
Hello Pinto Dudes and Dudettes,
Although it is not a Pinto...I am proud to add to the High_Horse stable a 1969 Galaxie 500 Convertable. It is vitually on the other side of the Ford car size spectrum being one of the biggest that Ford has produced. And please if there are any Galaxie 500 experts within our realm please contact me because I have some questions to ask. Here are some pics.....................

I've had some experience with Galaxies. I owned a '61 Starliner with a factory 401HP/390. Fast car and fun to drive! I also helped friends with Galaxies many years ago, so not sure I may be able to help, but I'll give it a shot!

Oh The memories. I owned a 69. It was that green that reminds you to go to grandmas house on sunday.Know what i mean? It was a 2 door and talk about fun to drive. I would take the long way to work just to get to drive it a little more. Drove it for three years until I got this little old car called a 73 pinto wagon. I sure do miss both those cars. that was back in the day.
