Title: Pinto Rear End
Post by: PinkPintoRacer on April 03, 2006, 11:25:31 AM
I looked in the FAQ, but did not see this one listed.  I beleive that it is a 6.5 inch rear end with 3.10 gearing.  There is no tag, but the casting numbers are D6EWAA.  Above that are the numbers 310.  Any ideas?  In paint pen, it is written 3.11

Hello PinkPintoRacer,
Just put the rear in the air and turn the driveshaft .
Mark the tire and driveshaft with chalk and count the revolutions of the driveshaft to make the tire turn ONE revolution.
From Pintony

P.S. W/O the tag for your rear axel that is th only way to tell what you have W/O counting the teeth on the gears.

Tha casting numbers mean nothing!
