The new pinto is a bobcat. It is a H/B with the big glass, brown with tan interior, 2.3 auto. This makes a total of 5 for now, but the ministock is leaving soon.
I am not a member of any bobcat sites so I just figured I would post this here.
We have all the parts needed to convert it (back) to the pinto it is yearning to be.
The car was in indoor storage for 15 years and has a layer of dust 1/8" thick.

The new one lives!
The auto tranny was out, and torn down when I got the car (amazing how many boxes it needs), but I converted it to a 4spd just so it would run and move. It took some work, but she runs. I still need to do some tweeking.

Hey I don't find these cars, they find me. Every pinto I have now, and all but one I ever had came to me. The one I got on my own was the worst condition of all the non-racecar ones, and I found it by accident too.
I drove the bobcat today, but just to spin it around so it would be nosed into the garage. Runs like poo. If it did not have a dented quarter behind the left door and a dinged up right fender, I might think about putting it on the road. Overall it is solid, and it does have some neet stuff like the trim that goes around the tail light panel. I have all the parts to make it a pinto, and I am thinking about selling all the bobcat stuff. The bad part is the grille is bad and the right fender extention is tweeked, but the hood is almost mint (the bobcat hood looks perfect to clear the t/b for a turbo swap, maybe better than the 79/80 hood).
