Title: wagon roof strips

does anyone know how to safely remove the roof strips from a wagon without destroting them? I need to get to a rust spot under one of them.

Carefully pry the polished strip away from the plastic[or rubber].It will come lose with care.Then the plastic is held on with clips that slide off.Hope this helps.
