Title: Fan's on motors.

Fan's....Do you run with them or with out them....I have in the past ran with out them...And I'm thinking this year to try to run one...A buddy of mine runs the original one but he cuts it down a little....

i always take my fans off everything i run becouse its just one more thing that the radiator and hit, and if one of the blades breaks it really throws the ballence of the car off it will feel about like haveing a bent rim running 30 mph sitting still -so to speak

WE RUN PLASTIC FANS SO IF THE DO HIT THE RAD THEY EAT THIER SELF UP AND NOT CAUSE YOU TOSE A BELT!!!! :surprised:

Plastic is the way to go.I drove about thirty demos with Pintos,with out fans, before starting to run a fan.If your radiator is getting that close,the pump is going to put a hole in your radiator anyway.When you run a fan,the motor is a least cool when you do loose your coolant.I always weld a 1/2" washer inside my thermostat housing to replace the thermostat.A 9/16" opening is perfect.(measure the opening on washer)
