hi i am wayne of waynes chassis works builder fabricator /inventor
i am building a 460 wagon i am keeping the stock hood my problen was how to open the hood with out removing it.
and 2x4s sticking out of the hood.
so i will be building reverse opening kits.
i will be moving to nc in the future and building a new shop.
the kits will be built there .

Is what you're making, just to open the hood forward, or are you talking about the whole nose opening forward???

that'll be kind of like the late '80's buick park ave/lesabre/electra. I've been thinking of doing the same thing myself. how much will these cost?

reply to cost of reverse hood kit.
less than 100.00 its depending on the price of metal stock but .
i will keep it down as much as possible.
like the latch has to be baught. and the rest is basicaly
welding and a set of stock hinges off the car will be needed.
it will be very slick it will move only approx 2 inches foward then raise up by prop rod. simple but very effective.

:what:.....where are you going to mount the hinges.
Where will by be locating to in NC? There are a couple of us around the Wilkesboro / Boone area.
