There is a sensor inside the air cleaner that has a harness connector near the firewall.
Any idea what that is?
It was unhooked, so I hooked it back up.
Thanks,
Mike
Is the sensor on the lid or on the body of the air cleaner?
Is it vacuum or electric?
Is it plastic or metal?
What color is it?
???
This little guy......
It is electric.
Parts catalog says T.A.V. valve.
Not sure what T.A.V. means.
Throttle Actuated Vacuum ??? ???
Temp. senser for the air entering the air cleaner housing.
T.A.V. = Temp. Ambient. Valve.
DO NOT ask me what it does because I do not care! ;D
Well....
Thanks for the info.
I noticed that my power decreased when I hooked it up. :-\
When I fill up next I can check if it helped my mileage.
More as it comes.
Mike
