Hey 79pannel,
You have to know the rest of the story to get the joke.
powderblue was asking about installing a V6 from a mustang. I think a 3.0 and I said NO WAY because I did not want him to COBBLE up a nice original Pinto.
Soooo Wheels are OK. Like powderblue said it is a joke.

I figured as much, but I was just being my usual smart-alec self!! Are you going to try to get out here for the Knott's Ford Show on April 9th?

I am there for sure!

I sent my entry today.
Just talked to brad about it.
I need a clutch still and the money thing is looking MUCH better.
I need to chang my fuel tank and get my W/S and seal installed.
If I have time I'll put my NEW carpet in and my NEW Purple tweed seats too.

I wasn't asking about installing a Mustang V6, I was checking to see if anyone needed the parts from the Mustang.
Were I to swap an engine, it would be a 302/351W.
Might as well make the reward worth the effort, eh?

Better still, how about a dual quad, tunnel-rammed Caddy 500?  :lol:  :lol:
On a more serious note..
I did a couple of tweaks to the timing and idle during lunch (the P.O. had done some odd things) and now it idles smoothly at the light and doesn't rattle like a VW diesel when it warms up.
