Title: New exhaust for 77 smogged Cali car
Post by: zo1boy on February 15, 2006, 02:37:49 PM
I will be putting on all new exhaust on to my 77 hatch. I'm in California so the car still needs to be smogged  >:( My original intentions are to put on a header from a 2.3 Ranger, high flow cat from Catco, and a Magna Flow. I would really like to stay away from that import my car sounds like a lawnmower sound. I would love to get as deep and throaty of a sound as I can get(4 banger  :surprised:). If you guys have any advice as to different mufflers or cat I'd really appreciate it. Also if any tips and things to look out for (and stay away from). Thanks

Take a look at the Dynomax mufflers.  I use there suff on all my cars.  They flow well and sound really good.  Not loud just good.
