Title: LAWMAN "SPRINT" Pinto? YEA You Bet! (X2)
Post by: Scott Hamilton on February 13, 2006, 11:54:27 PM
You won't believe what a friend found in the March 2006 issue of Muscle Car Review. An article about the Lawman car series & the man behind the story. What's VERY intresting is a picture of 2 SPRINT LAWMAN pintos with the caption,
"The fabled lwo jima monument in Washington DC is considered sacred ground by many in the armed services. The marine Corps gave AL and the Lawman Racing Team special permission to pose cars there briefly in the early '70s, the ONLY time a vehicle of any sort has been allowed on the monument."

The Pinto is never mentioned in the article but as you can see, 2 Sprint Lawman Pintos (along with 2 Mavericks) are there for all to see...

On an extra note, these are in ADDITION to the red Lawman Pinto that just surfaced last year in Detroit.

Sprint Lawman Pinto(s)....  GOT to be one of the Rarest Pintos (if still in existence)....

What do you think?
