dose anyone know what the stock battery size in a pinto is so i can use the right hold down,it is a 1980 thanks dusty.
I'm not 100% sure but I think the original group size battery is around a 26. I work in an auto parts store & for a Pinto it does not have an o.e. group size for the battery, but a group 26 appears to be the right size. It is sold as a direct replacement to whatever size battery it is.
OE group 22 battery
should be in your manual for a 2.3 with a/c 600 cc should be enough

Maybe Its "only" for big block 460 engines with reverse manual c-4 s in it.
