I race a 80 pinto at North Vernon Indiana.  Not to many pintos left up here.  they're all rusting away.  Everyone runs 79-93 Mustangs.

Want to see some real Pinto race cars in action: www.LARacers.com click on Irwindale Speedway, then any Mini Stock race dates........

Not a Pinto, but the #54 Mercury Capri 2 is ME!

I also have here a stripped and gutted black Merkur XR4ti roller that a racing buddy wanted me to build for him, but he flaked on any money or landscaping my home.

I'm willing to trade it for Ford 2.3 engine or engine parts, Ford 2.3 1991-1993 T5 5 speed trans or make an offer.....I just don't want to send it to the crusher....

If any Pinto racers on here are looking for racing Fiberglass Pinto body skin kits, my ROP class makes them and I use the money to buy new tools and supplies!

My business also make flush mounted Polycarbonate (Lexan) windows for them too.....

we have a hard time running our pintos. the local track you never know if it is going to be open. when it is open we have a car out there. we race in san angelo, texas. i know what you mean about wrecks on the backstretch. if there is going to be a wreck i'm usually tied up in it somehow.(i have the most damaged left rear quarterpanel every year. if you can't pass it, spin it out seems to be the philosophy around here) the bad thing is that we don't have enough 4 cyl cars so we have to race with the street stocks. nothing like being run over by a 4000 lb. chevelle. good luck this season.

I race a Mustang Mini-Stock at Thunder Valley Raceway in Salem,IN. We also have 3 pinto parts cars to be as future race cars. Also, our track still has about 50% of the cars are Pintos and the rest Mustangs, Goodson Racing #7
