Hey,
I am having problems with my carb I purchased off ebay. It came from a seller who deals in a large number of carbs and good feedback. the question I have is that the list number stamped on my carb does match up with anything I could find and does not look like the pics of the 8004 carbs I have seen. I can't get my car running with this carb on it and am wondering if it really is a 390cfm carb. The list number is 2156-1 and the other number stamped on it is C3TE-9510-D. Has anyone hear of this carb? Is it a 390?
Thanks

Hello Squid,
I am not an expert on carbs BUT it sounds like a motorcraft carb for the 390 Cubic Inch FE seriese BIG block.
C3TE-9510-D. If for a 1963 FORD TRUCK. Not sure about the CFM of this carb. Post the item number and maybe someone can look at the auction to be of further help?
Again I am not an expert.
From Pintony
C3TE-D carb tag = holley 4bbl for 534cid heavy truck 63-69.
Post your problems, maybe one of us can help.
Yes the item is still showing on ebay. The listing number is (8028476389). Check it out and let me know. Any help/advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
James
