Title: ThunderPinto II V-8 conversion testdrive report.
Post by: High_Horse on January 27, 2006, 02:48:30 AM
Hello Pinto Guys and Pinto Babes,
I have not been on for awhile. The company has been working allot of hours and My free time has been resticted to priorities like............DRIVING MY PINTO!!!!!!!!!!!
As you all may or may not know I began my v8 conversion in feb of 2005. It took me till sept. to get it started and begin my priliminary test running. Well, due to a very mild winter here in Wichita Kansas I have been able to drive my Pinto more then expected. On a daily basis. I have had no problems with this car at all. It starts right up and just rumbles me where ever I want to go. And fast.......I figure I am packing just a little under 200 horse but nothing scares me. I launch out of that hole so fast they just have to open up.....Ha!!! But the best part is.....it's a Pinto Wagon. My Pinto. I get allot of looks...People like Pintos. The cops have been leaving me alone. I thought sure as shootin that i'd have been stopped a little bit more then NOT AT ALL. And they have followed me. Maybe I have been lucky. But I know I have been naughty. This Pinto burns on demand. My exhaust system maintains a quiet rumble but when the pedal goes to the floor it's all Thunder. I hope that I may keep the enthusiasm going amongst you Pinto people to keep at your Pintos and do them right. I feel that the time I spent on ThunderPinto was and will be for a long time well worth it.

Hello High-Horse,
Thank you for the update on your Pinto wagon.
I have a sugestion for you...
Put a set of flashy wheels on your Pinto and see how often you get pulled over.
Heck... If your wagon was orange, you would be writing about how you lost your license already!!! ;D
COOL sleeper you have thare!!! Keep up the great work and Stay shiny side UP.
From Pintony
