Title: retirement gift
Post by: krazi on January 21, 2006, 12:08:07 AM
I went to see my auto instructor from high school today (the guy that got me hooked on pintos) and he has a '76 bobcat wagon sitting at the school. I asked him about it, and he said he inherited it from his late brother. here's a description: white '76 bobcat wagon, villager trim, mpg package, 4 cyl / 4speed, slotted mags, blue interior. here's what it needs: everything! windshield, weatherstripping, interior trim pieces, roof strips (chrome roof rack is there, missing strips) exterior sheetmetal, engine parts.... I lifted the hood and noticed fire damage. melted everything that wasn't steel, soot and black barbequed ...um, everything under the hood. he's gonna retire at either the end of this school year or next year. I'd really like to scrounge up as much as I can to get a good start on restoring this diamond in the (extreme) rough. any tips or help would be greatly appreciated.
