Hi folks,
We have just recently joined this list. My wife (Terri) owns a 1977 Pinto. She bought it brand new, off the dealers lot, somewhere in Omak, Washington. It had about 7 miles on it by the time she got it home, about 4 of which she put on during the test drive. She was 17 at the time.It now has about 50,000 miles.
Terri and the car have been seperated for about 7-8 years now but hopefully will soon be reunited.It has been sitting in a driveway all that time, un driven. Hopefully someone started it up now and then!
No pics available right now but we will post some when we can.
Terri has seen only one other just like it, bought by a woman in Seattle who had to have one just like it when she saw Terri's. It is white with a wide horizontal red stripe along the sides and rear. The hood is outlined in red pinstriping. 3 door runabout, hatch is the all glass type. Rear is jacked up, front has a black spoiler. Removable sunroof, air louvers, racing steering wheel, mags,4 on the floor. All this is factory installed, all original.Ticket price was something like $2500. No idea what engine is in it. Never been accidented. Not for sale, thought you would like to hear about it though :)
