Title: Brake Light Sender Switch

I have a Pinto that has been made into a race car.  The interior wiring is all gone, just power to what is needed.  I need to mount a brake light into the car, where is the sender swich, I know it should either be on the brake pedal lever or master cylinder, but I dont know what I am looking for.

It mounts on the pin on the pedal where the master cyl push rod mounts connects.
