not having a lot of room to store my exchanged parts  not willing ot throw them out but not as good as the ones on the car i came up with  this idea it is still a work in progress and will put up more Pict as i work on it the lights are a set of custom Christmas lights
by the way they are hanginh on the wall in my boys bed room  ( I hope they will let me have them back if i need them)

haha thats awesome.. ive been wanting to find a whole rear portion of a pinto with a hatch.. (early model) and i wanted to make a couch out of it.. and have the hatch open with the tail light panel welded on so i can close it if i want to.. and also put lights in the inside of the hatch to make lights shine down on the couch..  that is soo kool though.....

If your running a 12 volt system on that, go to a junk yard that has old school busses and get the red lights out of the top.  Beleive it or not they are the same sealed beam lights that cars use and they have high-low beams, they're just tinted red.

I put a set of them in my mom's old 78 t-bird junker that we had.  Looked tough when you turned the lights on and the doors opened up with the red light blaring.

i am using  110 v Christmas lights  very much modified the glass is from  real head lights with the back broken out so they would mount against the wall the plans are to put something up for a bumper and some peaces of a tire the back ground is still up in the air weather it will look like a road or a field

I think i got carried away   ::) I have the feeling I will not be able to have the parts back if i need them . ;D oh well the kids love it  and i had fun putting it together. it is hard to see the 3d affect in the picture, and the tires blend in more than i wanted

sweet
i can top that one i just need to find a picture of it. we took and cut a 2 door chevy berretta in half right behind the doors and took the windows out and cut the roof off , took 1 guy pulling and 4 pushing to get that baby in the house but it works great for an entertainment center, the guy who has it put a tv radio on the speaker deck with 2 huge speakers in the trunk, then put a playstation inside with the controllers sticking out of the bottom, then took harly pipes and stuck them under it and used a racing slick for a tire (mostly becouse it was a junk tire that was hard enough to stay tall and it was on a shiney rim) and a set of christmas lights under it to look like neons, oh and yes the tail lights, turn signals, and brake lights still work
