my wife got me this for christmas. it was originally a 1974 pinto stationwagon, which has been converted to a truck. the man did a pretty good job. its been sitting for 12 years, without being started. took me about 30 minutes to get in running. it needs some tlc, and a good bath. i put some pics of it in an album on this web site. by the way this web site is really great and has provided me with lots of info on pinto's. glad i found it. i would post pics on here but i have to reduce the file size first, and im having trouble with that, dont know how yet but im trying. check out my pics and let me know what you think
Thats a great looking little Pinchero. With a little TLC you will definately have something to turn heads at Carlisle.
thanks, gentlegiant. never thought of calling it a pinchero. cute name i like it. we think its pretty nice. we have to get a dash pad for it and some new interior, but im working on it. it should be better come spring
good luck on finding a dash pad. those are like finding a needle in a hay stack. but you can get a dash cap. which is a cover to lay over the original. if you dont wanna go that route, then you can get a dash hugger, which is just a dash cover, and you can have custom emboidary on it. you can get a dash hugger at www.dashhugger.com i think is the site..
Great looking car.You need to bring it to the Pinto get together in Carlisle,Pa.this coming June.
How can I find the album on this web site?
looks like that was a old post... the pics might have been lost when the site was moved to a new server.
