Title: clutch
Post by: darrel1 on November 09, 2003, 09:31:59 AM
Hi guys

The clutch on my 1978 pinto coupe seems to bind about 1/2 way through the stroke.  I just adjusted the cable, the cable is free. the peddle seems free,
but i have a sneaking suspicion that the diaphram
spring is calving.  Its been a long time since Ive had a pinto, but the clutch seems awful stiff.  can some one look in thier crystal ball and see if 'm right, or at least on the right track.

Okay,  I seem to have the clutch fixed.   Thanks for the help.   It still seems kinda stiff, but at least it is smooth..  Thanks for the help.  Now about the brakes...........
