OK, so I had the Pinto running for a couple months, but it wasn't REALLY that great, so I took it apart to redo a bunch of the wiring. It's doing better now that I've moved some things around, and the wiring is a LOT cleaner for it. But what I need to know now is how the vehicle gets battery power. For example, even when the car is off, you can put on the headlights and honk the horn. Right now, it doesn't do that and I'd like to make it do that so I can know that there's power where it needs to be. This stuff drives me nuts, and not having a wiring diagram drive me nuts, too!
And help is appreciated!

OK, it's all OK guys, don't worry about it I think I got it! No really, I don't need any help, it's fine, the horn works again and so do the lights. Haha...
Turns out I removed a wire that I wasn't supposed to remove when I did some cleaning. The car had one of those Sunpro guage clusters in it when I bought it, and the wiring for it was a mess (in addition to it being ugly). So I pulled it all out and the interior looks much better as a result. The only problem was that the ammeter that was in the cluster was on the wire that connected the alternator to the starter solenoid. All I had to do was put a wire back where I had taken one out, from the alternator to the starter solenoid, and now it's all good.
Cool, glad you solved the problem, I hate wireing.
