Post by: FordMan on November 22, 2005, 08:37:58 AM
when i was young my uncle raised my from the back of his pinto.  i was with him alot andthat car did everything for us hunting, fishing, and camping that pinto went everywere. a few months ago my 90 taurus broke down in need of new car i called up my uncle and asked him if i could have the pinto.he said i could. i have made nice plans for this car that include a new paint job and an overhauled engine. so i went out to the local salvage yard and got a 2.3 to overhaul. after alot of seaching for parts all over the internet i found this site its great. i found the parts i needed and was about to get a head from a guy on the site when i found my engine had a large peice missing from it :( .i will soon go to another salage yard a get a new engine for my pinto hopefully a better one to rebuild in my high school shop class i will try to keep you guys updateed on progress thank you all for your help. i wont be able to do it with out you guys

Where are you located?

I have a bunch of parts from my 2.3 pull that weren't sold off.  (Block, Carb, Oil pan, Oil pickup, accesory brackets, etc)

Let me know what you need.

Use your digital camera and take LOTS of pictures - document everything you do - it will give you a lot of pride to be able to build a website and say, "Look what I did"
