how do you guys feel about mustang owners?
just wondering it being another ford and all.

well i dont own a pinto i have a mustang myself. was just wondering what pinto people though of mustang people.
lol you know like chevy person and a ford person, normaly wont get along to well.
i have a 90 mustang lx with a 2.3 and a 5spd in it. gonna start doing work to it and all.
I have had many Mustangs, I like to say that I am in between Mustangs right now, rather than I don't own one at the moment. As far as I'm concerned they are great cars. Pintos are great cars and I love mine, they are a great way to have a cool old car that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, unless you want it to.

I am sorry but you don't own a Mustang.
You own a 1990 Pinto with a different skin. Any car with the 2.3L is a Pinto in different clothes.

I owned a 2 fox body car's. One was a 1979 Turbo RS Capri that screemed ( it would slide sideways going into 3rd gear)and of coarse it was well modified, and I owned a 1980 Capri V8 that, after the original motor broke I replaced it with a 1984 Mustang GT 5.0. That car ran well after that too.............
I have had a few 60's stangs.
My roots are in GM, but kool cars are still kool cars. It's all good!!!

I have one cocky local guy that keeps hoarding his 302 motors. >:(
He is already bumped up to 306 and is running turbo and N2O, but NOOO... he doesn't want to let a poor ol' Pinto have one of his cheap 302 blocks. ;) Other than that, I like picking on the V6s with my Mazda3. ;D
Mustangs are really great- I owned a 65 Fastback with a 302, T-5, 9" rear, etc. A nice ride which I recently sold so I could purchase a 2006 Mustang GT. Ford did a fantastic job on the new Mustang- can hardly wait for the 2007 Shelby Cobra GT-500. The only problem with Mustangs is there are so many of them- that's why I take my PINTO to most local car shows.
redmustangman3: Say it like it is, same here, sold the 68 conv., factory v8, factory alco. blue met. paint, factory A/C car (that I spent 4 years restoring) because it was too 'common' compaired to the pinto.
