So just over winter break i decided to stop the oil leak that my engine kept seeping. It turned out to be my block;it needed to be resurfaced and the valves needed to be modified. On top of that my camshaft lobes were dull so they needed to replace that along with some lifters and rockers. wow!  :'( But my car runs a lot quieter. I even tested it out on the free-way to Eugene from Albany. It went great. But my carb. might need some tinkering because when I press the pedal it lags a little but then picks up. I've played with the idle screw and what not. I did try one thing with my choke plates. I forced them down and I think that means I just got more gas mixture than air and it just plain zoooomed whether it was a long straight away or just accelerating! So if nobody reads this thats fine but i'm straight tickled when it comes to my pinto!
