i have a 76 mustang II with a 302 what should i take off of it to convert my 1979 pinto to a V8 ???

What trans is behind it?

id say keep the rear end.. depending on what gears it has.

I would take as much as possible,Take your whole drivetrain(motor,trans.driveshaft and rearend)motor mounts,radiator,ignition unless you plan on upgrading that.If you end up not needing some parts you can always sell them here.You have the ultimate donor car so it will be a pretty simple swap for you.
