Here is my 71 Pinto sedan. It is a 2.0L, automatic, deluxe interior and factory A/C. This is a one owner garage keep car I purchased in August 2003 with 41,777 miles. The car was never driven on the freeway except to get it home from the dealership and didn't leave the city of Alhambra until I brought it to my house about 30 miles away. It has had some minor restoration but not much. Mostly a lot of cleaning and detailing.

Another view.
Two more. Early factory A/C doesn't have a center vent and controls are in
the dash. Engine compartment will be restored some day.
Hey Bipper,
Nice original Pinto.
Is your Pinto the one with the optional fold down rear seat?
Thank you for share-ing the great photos of your Pinto.

beutiful car! looks like what mine used to look like brand new. but mine has black interior. and just standard not the delux style. very nice!! i love it. what is the vin# what number production was it just curious..
yea that one looks just like my 74
Thanks for the nice comments. This car doesn't have the fold down rear seat but one of the guys here pulled one out of a 71 at the junk yard. It's not going to go in this car though. I want to keep this one as original as possible. The hardest part is going to be the engine compartment because it used Autolite stuff. From 72 on used Motorcraft. This car was built at the San Jose plant in April. The sequential number is 170289.
Please post some pics of your other cars as well ;D
very nice!! mine is 171096. only 807 cars rolled off the line till mine rolled off after yours. :)
They don't get any cleaner than that Bob. Very very nice.
Dave.
My wife laughs at me. Other guys surf for porn on the internet. ME? I drool over other guys rides. Bob, That is one sweet ride you have there. I don't blame you for keeping it stock. It is Beatiful.
that is by far the CLEANEST pinto i have EVER seen. great job on finding a diamond in the rough. keep it original. (barret jackson will be killing for these things in about 30 years) one question though, how much did you pay for it, just to get a perspective on a price tag matter for it. (no i dont wanna buy, and no im not sellin either)
one question though, how much did you pay for it
Sorry, that's classified. I can tell you it was more than $1500 and less than $5000. Yes this one
is staying original and I don't expect I'll ever sell it. My Pinto friend and I had been looking for a
71 or 72 like this for about ten years. He found one in in 2002 and then he found this one in
2004 and told me about it. I bought it on the spot.
