i named my pinto after the name i found in my trunk for the paint inspector. ill write the whole story soon. here are pics. basically ill be posting tings from start to finish. it needs body work cause it was stolen and smashed. here are the pics.

i only have 5 so far. and its of the night (tonight) before. then ill take some of the arrival and then the stripdown etc
here are some pics. i was shocked at the condition of the floor pans and on how much rust i did find. about 2% of the car is rusted. mostly just the battery tray and a little bit in the trunk. also can anyone tell me what the W is for thats on my trans hump on the pass side. i found my build sheet too. but its beyond repair. but i might be able to have my curiator friend work on it and get it un crinkled. also im making a site to host all the pics. be up soon
Hello Skrach,
The "W" is for telling the guy at the assembly plant to install an automatic shifter in the hole W/O having to look in the hole to see what tranny is installed in the car.
